PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its football weekly honors for the week ending Oct. 5.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CONNOR BARRY • Christopher Newport University
Junior • Quarterback • Vienna, VA/James Madison

Barry earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the third time this season after orchestrating the Captains' thrilling double-overtime victory at Rowan. The junior signal-caller completed 27 of 44 passes for 434 yards and five touchdowns without an interception, while also rushing for a critical score. His 14-yard touchdown scamper with just 41 seconds remaining in regulation forced overtime at 34-34, and he connected with Colin Hart on an 80-yard scoring strike in the fourth quarter before finding Hart again for a 20-yard touchdown in the extra period.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOSEPH PRESSLEY • William Paterson University
Sophomore • Defensive Lineman • Allentown, PA/Pemberton

Pressley becomes the third different Pioneer in as many weeks to be named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week following his dominant performance in William Paterson's 32-7 victory over Vermont State-Castleton. The sophomore lineman made his four tackles count in a big way, with 3.5 for loss and a career-high 2.0 sacks totaling 19 yards in losses. He also added a pass breakup and forced his first career fumble while helping limit the Spartans' offensive attack throughout the contest.

Rubinetti captures NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week after an exceptional all-around performance in Montclair State's 38-28 win at Kean. The senior specialist converted all five extra point attempts and drilled a clutch 27-yard field goal with 52 seconds remaining to seal the victory. He averaged 40 yards on four punts, including a 59-yarder, with three fair catches and one downed inside the 20-yard line. Rubinetti also handled seven kickoffs for 286 yards, forcing returns that led to two Red Hawk fumble recoveries.

OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
DREVYON THARRINGTON • Christopher Newport University
Freshman • Running Back/Kick Returner • Norfolk, VA/Granby

Tharrington is selected as NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week for the second straight week after his impactful performance in CNU's double-overtime triumph at Rowan. The freshman running back back rushed six times for 24 yards while averaging four yards per carry against a stout Profs defense. He made his biggest impact in the return game, totaling 84 yards on two kickoff returns, including a crucial 62-yard runback that sparked the Captains' comeback from a 20-6 first-half deficit.

DEFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CHIMMY OZOKFOR • The College of New Jersey
Freshman • Linebacker • Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough

Ozokfor receives his first career NJAC weekly honor after a standout performance in TCNJ's matchup against No. 5 Salisbury.
