Rowan Captures 2024 NCAA Metro Regional Title; 15 NJAC Runners Named All-Region

GALLOWAY, NJ -- Rowan captured the 2024 NCAA Metro Region Championship on Saturday as the Profs totaled 81 points to edge out second-place Swarthmore with 86 points.

The Profs will now automatically advance to the NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship next weekend out in Terre Haute, IN with Rose-Hulman serving as the hosts.

Rowan led four NJAC teams within the regional top 10, with TCNJ finishing third, Stockton sixth, and Ramapo eighth.

Individually, Ramapo's Dale Leonard was the top finishing NJAC runner, placing third overall with a time of 22:10.

A total of 15 NJAC runners finished in the top 35 to earn All-Region honors, with an NJAC-high five from TCNJ along with four from Rowan, two each from Ramapo and Stockton, and one each from Montclair State and NJCU.
