PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its field hockey weekly honors for the week ending Oct. 15.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CAROLINE PEASE • Kean University
Freshman • Forward • Waverly, PA/Abington Heights

Pease earns her first career NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honor after leading Kean with three goals in a 1-1 week. She scored one in a setback to No. 23 Rowan, notching her first collegiate goal with 2:31 remaining to pull the Cougars within one goal in a comeback attempt that fell just short 3-2. She then scored twice the following day as Kean bounced back with a big 3-2 win over No. 11 Lynchburg. Pease has seen action in 10 games with one start in her first season in Union.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CARLY AMERMAN • Montclair State University
Senior • Midfield/Defense • Bangor, PA/Bangor Area

Amerman is named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after contributing on both ends of the field in Montclair State's 3-0 nonconference blanking of Western Connecticut State. She anchored a back line that did not allow a single shot in the shutout win. She also became the first Red Hawk in a decade to register three assists in a game, setting up all three of MSU's goals on the day. Amerman currently ranks third among all NJAC players with six assists this year, and is up to 10 points total with her six helpers and two goals.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
MARIAH JUILIANO • Rowan University
Freshman • Goaltender • Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown

Juiliano collects NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after making a huge collegiate debut in Rowan's 3-2 win over No. 13 Kean on Friday. She made a whopping 17 saves, including a stop on a penalty stroke, for the critical NJAC victory. She had to make consecutive saves a few times as Kean applied heavy pressure, outshooting the Profs 26-12 and holding a dominating 22-8 advantage in corners.
