INDIANAPOLIS --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference kept the momentum going on Day Two of the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday at the IU Natatorium, with three more All-America performances headlining another solid day in the pool for NJAC athletes.
WOMEN
Salisbury's Rowan O'Donoghue continued her terrific rookie championship week, earning Second Team All-America recognition for the second straight day. After her top-16 finish in the 500 freestyle on Wednesday, O'Donoghue returned to clock 1:50.27 in the 200 freestyle and place 11th overall. Teammate Addi Wood also competed in the event, finishing 48th in 1:58.41.
The 100 butterfly brought out four NJAC competitors, led by Kean's Braelyn Wilson — fresh off her First Team All-America performance in the 50 freestyle — who placed 22nd at 55.75. Rowan's Ella Pennington was close behind in 24th at 55.78, while Salisbury's Libby Miyashita (39th, 56.81) and Lily Griffin (41st, 57.02) also competed. Rowan's Kaitlyn Crouthamel rounded out the women's day with a 22nd-place finish in the 400 individual medley at 4:30.14.
Kean's 200 freestyle relay team of Braelyn Wilson, Emma Bellars, Sydney Stemley and Olivia Chow finished 26th overall in 1:35.75.
MEN
TCNJ's Joe McChesney delivered the men's highlight of the day, touching the wall in 47.80 in the 100 butterfly to place seventh overall and claim First Team All-America honors. Salisbury's Cameron Byrd was not far behind, finishing 15th in 48.54 to earn Second Team All-America recognition — a strong showing for the NJAC in the event. Salisbury's Mason Potts also competed, placing 32nd in 48.87.
TCNJ continued to show its depth across the rest of the day's events. Steven Bendoraitis placed 20th in the 200 freestyle at 1:38.66, while Gavin Formon turned in an 18th-place finish in the 400 individual medley at 3:59.02. The Lions' 200 freestyle relay team of M.J. Hoban, Joe McChesney, Andrew Kidchob and Gabe Beverini closed out the men's competition with a 22nd-place finish in 1:22.95.
Looking Ahead to Day 3
The NJAC continues its championship week on Friday with a full slate of events. On the women's side, Kean competes in the 200 medley relay, while athletes from Rowan, Kean, Salisbury and Mary Washington are entered in the 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 200 butterfly. Salisbury continues women's competition with its 800 freestyle relay.
On the men's side, both TCNJ and Salisbury field 200 medley relay teams, with McChesney returning in the 200 butterfly, Kidchob and Potts in the 100 backstroke, and McGeehan and Kazzi in the 100 breaststroke. USMMA's Carter Kov dives in the 1-meter event, and TCNJ swims the 800 freestyle relay.
