Hengemuhle's career was highlighted by a tremendous 1991 season in which she was named the NSCA Division III Player of the Year. A two-time First Team All-NJAC selection, she also established an NCAA Division III record with 17 triples in a single season, a mark that still stands. In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the New Jersey Athletic Conference, the NJAC will name its Top 70 Student-Athletes in the 70-year history of the conference. All selections were made by a panel comprised of current and former athletic administrators, current and former athletic communications personnel, conference office staff, and media. Consideration was limited to full-member institution student-athletes who competed in sports currently sponsored by the NJAC.
