PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CAYLEY ELENA MORRISON • Kean University
Senior • Middle Hitter • Elizabeth, NJ/Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy
 
Morrison has been named NJAC Player of the Week after powering Kean to a thrilling five-set win over Montclair State in the conference opener and early test. The senior middle hitter racked up 20 kills (4.00 per set) on .515 hitting (20-3-33). She added three blocks and finished with 22 points, an average of 4.40 per set. Morrison currently ranks third in the NJAC in hitting percentage (.317), fourth in blocks (0.87/set), and fifth in points (3.51/set).
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BELLA DEMERS • William Paterson University
Junior • Libero • Maumee, OH/Maumee
 
Demers claims NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after anchoring William Paterson's back row in a key 3-0 sweep of Stockton in the conference opener. The junior libero posted a match-high 21 digs, an average of 7.00 per set. That tied her career best for a three-set match. She also served three aces (1.00 per set) and handed out five assists. Demers currently leads all NJAC players in digs per set (5.55).
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
AUBREY AGCAOILI • Ramapo College
Freshman • Setter • Virginia Beach, VA/Tallwood
 
Agcaoili has been selected as NJAC Rookie of the Week – the second Roadrunner in as many week – after running the Ramapo offense in a 2-0 week. The freshman setter dished out 64 assists (9.14 per set) and served six aces (0.86 per set). She also added 14 digs, averaging 2.00 per set. In a 3-0 sweep of New Paltz in the conference opener, Agcaoili tallied 22 assists, three aces and four digs. She followed with a double-double of 42 assists (10.50 per set) and 10 digs while serving three aces in a four-set win over Centenary. The rookie currently ranks fifth in the NJAC with 6.88 assists per set on the season.
