Rowan University Captures The 2025-26 NJAC Cup

PRINCETON, NJ — For the eighth time since its inception, Rowan University has captured the NJAC Cup, the conference announced Sunday at the annual NJAC Awards Brunch at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton. The Profs claimed the 2025-26 Cup with a winning percentage of .905, the highest mark in the conference.

The NJAC Cup is awarded annually to the member institution that demonstrates the highest level of competitive achievement across the conference's 20 sponsored sports. Each institution is scored based on its finish in the final regular season standings or in the conference championship meet for cross country, indoor track and field, swimming and diving, and outdoor track and field. Points earned are divided by total points possible based on a school's sport sponsorship pattern to determine a percentage, with the highest percentage at the end of the academic year determining the winner.

Rowan's 2025-26 campaign was defined by excellence across the board. The Profs captured nine NJAC team championships and two regular season conference titles, while men's indoor track and field claimed a national team championship — making Rowan the 64th NJAC program in history to win a national title. The depth of Rowan's national success extended further, with five individual national champions and four national runners-up, men's outdoor track and field finishing as team runner-up at the NCAA Championships, baseball placing fourth at the NCAA Division III World Series, and softball placing sixth.

Rowan athletes earned 199 NJAC All-Conference honors and 52 All-America honors throughout the year, along with 28 NJAC individual major awards. Academically, the Profs earned one Academic All-America selection and 31 Academic All-District awards.

The College of New Jersey finished second in the final standings with a percentage of .805 (116 points earned, 144 possible), while Stockton University placed third at .708 (97 points earned, 137 possible).
