LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Three members of the New Jersey Athletic Conference earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® Division III Softball honors, with 28 total named to the Academic All-District Team. Rowan senior Emily McCutcheon was named to the Second Team, while Stockton senior Emma Coldsnow and TCNJ junior Maya Knasiak each earned Third Team recognition.

Emily McCutcheon, Rowan (Second Team – Pitcher)

McCutcheon becomes the eighth player in Rowan program history to earn Academic All-America honors and the second in consecutive seasons to represent the Profs. A Psychology major, she is also a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, a NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention, a Rowan Scholar of Distinction and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma national student-athlete honor society.

On the field, the lefthander went 22-7 in 30 starts this season with a 1.31 ERA, a 0.90 WHIP, 107 strikeouts and just 15 walks in 187 innings, adding 19 complete games and six shutouts. She was named the NCAA Tournament Marshall Regional Most Valuable Player and the NCAA Glassboro Super Regional Most Outstanding Pitcher as Rowan finished the season 43-11 with a program-record fourth consecutive trip to the Division III World Series and a fifth-place finish.

In four seasons at Rowan, McCutcheon owns a 76-13 record with a 1.28 ERA, 53 complete games and 23 shutouts in 600 innings, and will leave the program among the top five all-time in wins, innings pitched, ERA and win percentage.

Emma Coldsnow, Stockton (Third Team – Designated Player)

Coldsnow became the fourth Academic All-American in Stockton softball history and first since 2018, as well as the 21st Academic All-American in Stockton Athletics history. A Chemistry major, she also earned NJAC First Team, NFCA Region IV First Team and CSC Academic All-District honors this season.

Coldsnow started all 39 games for the Ospreys during a historic campaign that included the program's first NCAA Tournament berth, first NJAC regular season title and first national ranking. She led the NJAC in on-base percentage (.537) and finished second in OPS (1.103) and hit by pitch (11), producing a .415 batting average, a .566 slugging percentage, 44 hits, 24 RBI, 13 runs and four home runs. Coldsnow hit safely in 28 of 39 games, including 13 multi-hit outings and an 11-game hitting streak.

A transfer who split two seasons each at Salisbury and Stockton, Coldsnow reached the 100-hit mark for her career against Rutgers-Newark on April 24. In two seasons with the Ospreys, she compiled a .395 batting average — third in program history (minimum 180 at-bats) — and 12 home runs, tied for seventh all-time at Stockton.

Maya Knasiak, TCNJ (Third Team – Pitcher)

Knasiak becomes the 22nd Academic All-American in TCNJ program history. A mechanical engineering major with a 3.79 GPA, she earned Academic All-District recognition for the second consecutive year before advancing to the national ballot. She also earned First Team NFCA All-America, All-Region and NJAC Pitcher of the Year honors this season.

In the circle, Knasiak ranked among the Division III leaders at the conclusion of the regular season in shutouts (10, 1st), WHIP (0.60, 2nd), hits allowed per seven innings (3.03, 2nd), ERA (0.86, 6th) and strikeouts (150, 7th). Her 10 shutouts remain the most in DIII and included 60 consecutive scoreless innings from March 7 to April 7, featuring six straight complete-game shutouts. Knasiak finished her junior season 15-4 with 14 complete games and a single-season program-record 174 strikeouts in 139 innings.
