TCNJ, William Paterson Earn Bids To 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament; Rutgers-Camden to ECACs

INDIANAPOLIS – For the first time since the 2019-20 season, the New Jersey Athletic Conference will have multiple programs competing in the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament, as TCNJ and William Paterson have both earned bids to the field of 64.
 
TCNJ – Automatic Bid/NJAC Champion
 
TCNJ claimed the NJAC's automatic bid with an upset of top-seeded William Paterson in Sunday's NJAC Championship game, marking the program's 14th all-time NCAA Tournament appearance. The Lions will travel to University Heights, Ohio, to compete in a first-round pod hosted by John Carroll, which also includes SUNY New Paltz and Immaculata. SUNY New Paltz and Immaculata will open Friday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m., with TCNJ and John Carroll set to tip off immediately following.
 
WILLIAM PATERSON – At-Large Bid
 
For the 12th time in program history and the first since 2012-13, the William Paterson Pioneers have earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Playing to a 25-2 overall record this season, the Pioneers received an at-large bid and will open tournament play Friday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m. against Baldwin Wallace (24-3, 16-0 OAC) at Goldfarb Gymnasium in Baltimore, Md., hosted by Johns Hopkins University. The winner will advance to the round of 32 to face the winner of Johns Hopkins and Hunter.
 
RUTGERS-CAMDEN – ECAC Tournament
 
Rutgers-Camden earned hosting rights as the No. 4 seed in the ECAC Tournament and will welcome No. 5 Cedar Crest on Saturday, March 7. The winner advances to the semifinal round at top-seeded McDaniel on Saturday, March 14.
