PRINCETON, NJ --- For the seventh time since the inception of the NJAC Cup, Rowan University has captured the Cup which was presented to the department at the annual NJAC Awards Brunch on Sunday, June 8.

The Profs claimed the 2024-25 Cup with a winning percentage of .878.

In the year-long competition, each full member institution is scored based on its finish in the final regular season standings or in the conference championship meet (for cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field) in the 20 sports that are sponsored by the NJAC.

The number of points awarded in each sport is determined by the number of conference participants. The total number of points earned by each school is then divided by the total number of points possible based on a school’s sport sponsorship pattern to determine a percentage. The institution with the highest percentage at the end of the academic year is awarded the NJAC Cup.

Rowan captured seven NJAC team championships season titles in 2024-25, including women's and men's cross country, field hockey, men's soccer, men's indoor and outdoor track & field, and softball. The department had a total of 190 all-conference honorees, which included 30 individual major awards, and 46 All-America honors. On the national stage, the men's track and field program finished third at the NCAA Championships during both the indoor and outdoor seasons, while baseball placed fourth and softball sixth at their respective NCAA Division III World Series.
