MONTCLAIR, N.J. (5/3/25) –
Brett Hilsheimer went 2-for-3 with a two RBI homerun as the top seeded Kean University baseball team stayed alive in the New Jersey Athletic Conference baseball tournament with a 4-2 victory over the fifth seeded Ramapo College Roadrunners at Montclair State University on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Cougars fell behind 2-0 in the second with a two run shot to left center.
  • Kean responded in the fifth with a two-run homer from Hilsheimer and a Tyler Stone RBI single that scored Dominic Masino.
  • The Cougars added an insurance run in the eighth as Justin Teixeira singled through left side to score Dan Reistle.

INSIDE THE BOX
  • Reistle finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
  • Kyle Adorno, Hilsheimer, and Teixeira all notched two hits on the afternoon.
