INDIANAPOLIS --- Five NJAC teams have been named to the 64-team NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament field, announced during the selection show on Monday afternoon.
Regular season champion Kean (35-8) will host the regional round in Union, with the pod containing Husson (24-14), Cortland (29-11), and Middlebury (27-11).
NJAC champion Rutgers-Camden (29-15) will head to Johns Hopkins for the regional round, and will be in a pod with the host Blue Jays (39-3) along with Farmingdale State (26-14) and Rensselaer (29-14).
Ramapo (27-14) is placed in the Salisbury regional. The pod includes the host Sea Gulls (31-8), JWU Providence (28-13), and Baldwin-Wallace (30-13).
Rowan (31-10) heads west to the Mount Union regional, with the host Purple Raiders (27-11), Grove City (31-11), and Catholic (27-16).
TCNJ (26-17-1) is also among the tournament field, and is headed to Penn State-Harrisburg (33-11-1). Also in the pod are Salve Regina (32-7) and Keene State (25-15).
The regional round is set for May 16-18. The winner of each of the 16 four-team pods will advance to the Super Regional round, set for May 23-24. The eight Super Regional winners advance to the national championship tournament, set for May 30 to June 5 in Eastlake, OH.
