Seventeen NJAC Players Named to United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region IV Team

PITMAN, NJ --- The United Soccer Coaches announced its 2025 NCAA Division III All-Region IV selections, with 17 New Jersey Athletic Conference players earning recognition for their outstanding performances this season. The NJAC led all conferences in the region with seven first-team selections, six second-team honorees and four third-team picks. First-team selections became eligible for consideration for All-America honors. Montclair State and Rowan each placed four players on the squad, TCNJ earned three selections, Stockton had two honorees, and Rutgers-Newark, Rutgers-Camden and Ramapo each had one player recognized.
 
First Team
  • Pierre Soumeillant, Montclair State, K – Started nine of 10 games in goal, posting a 1.52 goals-against average and 6-1-3 record; made 29 saves (.674 save percentage) and recorded two shutouts
  • Ryan Cleary, Rowan, D – NJAC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-NJAC selection who recorded eight assists; helped anchor a defense that posted a 1.08 goals-against average and .773 save percentage while the team advanced to the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament
  • Danny Tobon, Montclair State, M – NJAC David Logar Leadership Award recipient and First Team All-NJAC honoree who played in 19 games, recording nine goals and four assists for 22 points; also tallied three game-winning goals
  • Uche Wokocha, Stockton, M – NJAC Pat Baldiserra Midfielder of the Year and First Team All-NJAC selection who recorded 14 points on five goals and four assists
  • Ernst Louisius, Stockton, F – First Team All-NJAC forward who competed in 18 games with 10 goals and one assist for 21 points
  • Chris Meder, TCNJ, F – First Team All-NJAC selection who finished second in the conference with 37 points in 21 games, recording 13 goals and a conference-high 11 assists
  • Johnny Troiano, Rowan, F – NJAC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-NJAC honoree who paced the region with 19 goals in 25 games, adding five assists for an NJAC-leading 43 points; also led with six game-winning goals
 
Second Team
 
  • Sean Najdzinowicz, TCNJ, K – NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year who started 15 games in goal, posting a 0.80 goals-against average while allowing 12 goals; made 62 saves for an .838 save percentage and recorded five shutouts
  • Sebastian Lapczynski, Montclair State, D – First Team All-NJAC defender and key contributor to a defense that allowed just 1.05 goals per game and posted a conference-best .701 save percentage in 19 games
  • Davide Caputo, Rowan, M – Second Team All-NJAC selection who appeared in 22 games with four goals and six assists for 14 points
  • Evan Schlotterbeck, Rowan, M – First Team All-NJAC honoree who helped Rowan advance to the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament; Tallied four goals while helping the Profs’ defense to a 1.08 goals against average
  • Erick Cortes, Rutgers-Newark, F – First Team All-NJAC forward who tallied 15 goals in 21 games and five assists for 35 points, including five game-winning goals
  • Tomas Monteiro, Montclair State, F – NJAC Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-NJAC selection who competed in 19 games, recording nine goals and two assists for 20 points; also added three game-winning goals
 
Third Team
 
  • Greg Ferreira, Rowan, D – First Team All-NJAC defender and integral part of Rowan's defensive unit that allowed 1.08 goals per game while the team advanced to the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament
  • Eric Swen, Rutgers-Camden, D – First Team All-NJAC selection who anchored a Rutgers-Camden defense that posted a 1.58 goals-against average and .727 save percentage
  • Dylan Perez, Ramapo, M – Honorable Mention All-NJAC pick who played in 17 games with seven goals and three assists for 17 points, including two game-winning goals
  • Matt Will, TCNJ, M – Second Team All-NJAC midfielder who appeared in 21 games, scoring nine goals and three assists for 21 points; also recorded four game-winning goals
