PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its women's swimming & diving weekly honors for the week ending Nov. 23.
SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
ELLA PENNINGTON • Rowan University
Senior • Elkton, MD/Elkton
Pennington claimed NJAC Swimmer of the Week honors for the third time this year after hitting five NCAA 'B' cut times while breaking two school records and tying another at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational, where Rowan placed fourth overall. She recorded 'B' cuts in the 200 backstroke (1:59.84), 100 fly (53.87, school record), 100 backstroke twice—individually (54.51, tying her own school record) and as the leadoff of the third-place 400 medley relay (55.21, 3:53.98)—and 200 IM (2:03.14, school record). Her 100 back and 100 fly times are the fastest in NCAA Division III this season, while her 200 back and 200 IM rank second nationally.
DIVER OF THE WEEK
BETH EVALDI • The College of New Jersey

Evaldi earned her second NJAC Diver of the Week recognition of the season after sweeping both diving events at the TCNJ Invitational. She won the 1-meter competition with an 11-dive score of 431.55 and captured the 3-meter event with 428.20. Both scores rank first in the NJAC, with her 1-meter mark sitting fifth in Division III and her 3-meter score ranking sixth nationally.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ROWAN O'DONOGHUE • Salisbury University
Freshman • Newark, DE/Saint Marks
O'Donoghue was named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth straight week and fifth time overall as she continued a torrid start to her Salisbury career. She captured six gold medals and one silver to help Salisbury win the Yellow Jacket Invitational title. She won gold in the 100 free (51.95), 200 free (1:52.13), 500 free (5:00.23), 200 free relay (anchor, 1:36.14), 400 medley relay (anchor, 3:52.48), and 400 free relay (anchor, 3:31.75), while earning silver in the 200 medley relay (anchor, 1:46.84). O'Donoghue posted the NJAC's fastest times in the 100 free, 200 free, and 500 free, with her 500 free ranking ninth in Division III and 200 free sitting 15th nationally. Salisbury's 200 and 400 free relays posted the NJAC’s fastest times of the season; the 400 free relay and 400 medley relay both rank in the top 15 nationally.
