INDIANAPOLIS --- Kean has taken over the top spot in the NJAC in the second NCAA Division III women's volleyball NPI rankings of the 2025 season, released Monday following games through Sunday, October 26.
Kean sits at number 31 nationally with an NPI of 60.122, jumping 12 spots from the previous rankings. Montclair State follows at 40th (59.374 NPI), while Rowan checks in at 45th (58.791 NPI). The tight clustering at the top gives the NJAC three teams within the national top 45.
In Region IV, the NJAC holds five of the top seven spots, with Kean ranking first, Montclair State second, Rowan third, Stockton fifth, and William Paterson seventh.
The remaining NJAC teams in the national rankings include Stockton at 65th (57.177 NPI), William Paterson at 75th (56.615 NPI), New Jersey City at 139th (53.236 NPI), Ramapo at 161st (51.945 NPI), Rutgers-Camden at 274th (47.343 NPI), and Rutgers-Newark at 304th (44.872 NPI).
The regular season concludes Tuesday, November 4, with the NJAC Tournament set to begin on Tuesday, November 11. These rankings will continue to shift as teams compete for positioning heading into the NCAA tournament selection process.
