INDIANAPOLIS --- Christopher Newport jumped into the top spot in the NJAC in the second NCAA Division III football NPI rankings of the 2025 season, released Monday following games through Sunday, October 19.
Christopher Newport sits at number 8 nationally with an NPI of 70.722, while Salisbury follows at 11th (69.902 NPI), giving the NJAC two teams in the top 11. TCNJ made a significant jump of 13 spots to 31st (63.141 NPI), while Rowan checks in at 73rd (57.377 NPI).
The remaining NJAC teams in the national rankings include Montclair State at 153rd (45.116 NPI), VTSU Castleton at 155th (44.672 NPI), William Paterson at 161st (43.665 NPI), and Kean at 209th (35.461 NPI).
