RUNNER OF THE WEEK
RYAN PENA • Ramapo College
Senior • Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack
 
Pena was selected NJAC Runner of the Week after posting a personal-best time of 25:12.6 in the 8K at the Metropolitan Cross Country Championships hosted at Branch Brook Park. The senior led the Roadrunners with a ninth-place overall finish while competing against a field of all NCAA Division I opponents.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
BRIAN METZ • Ramapo College
Freshman • Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany Hills
 
Metz earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after recording a personal-best time of 25:12.7 in the 8K at the Metropolitan Cross Country Championships. The freshman finished third for the Roadrunners and 40th overall while competing against a field of all NCAA Division I competitors at Branch Brook Park.
