Rowan's Fleming, MSU's Goss Earn NJAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors

PITMAN --- The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its men's basketball weekly award winners for the week ending Dec. 1.
 

 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DANNY FLEMING • Rowan University
Senior • Forward • Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield
 
Fleming becomes the second Prof this season to earn NJAC Player of the Week honors, joining Week 2 winner Khalif Meares. The senior forward led Rowan to a thrilling 107-102 victory over Montclair State in the NJAC opener, scoring a career-high 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting (71.4%). Fleming added seven rebounds and two blocks, showcasing his dominance on both ends of the court. He scored 18 of his 26 points in the first half, powering Rowan to a commanding 66-51 halftime lead. This performance marked Fleming’s second 20-plus-point game of the season, and he is currently the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging 16.8 points per game.
 
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
KABRIEN GOSS • Montclair State University
Freshman • Guard • Trenton, NJ/Roman Catholic
 
Goss collects his first career weekly honor as the NJAC Rookie of the Week. The freshman guard recorded a season-high 16 points in Montclair State’s matchup against Rowan in the NJAC opener for both teams. Goss was highly efficient, shooting 5-for-7 (71.4%) from the field, including 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line. In addition to his scoring, Goss contributed two assists.
