PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Wells earns his first NJAC Player of the Week honor after averaging 21.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game while shooting an impressive 68 percent from the field (17-for-25) during a 1-1 week for the Pioneers. Wells opened the week with a dominant 21-point performance on 9-of-14 shooting and a career-high 13 rebounds in a hard-fought road loss at Cairn. He capped off his week with a season-best 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting, along with seven rebounds, in a convincing win over SUNY Maritime.
