OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOEY BILDSTEIN • Salisbury University

Bildstein earns his first NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season after he ran the ball 23 times for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the Sea Gulls’ 31-12 win at Montclair State on Saturday. Bildstein has now rushed for a touchdown in seven straight NJAC games, racking up his seventh career multi-score game to boot. After missing the first four games of the year with an injury, Bildstein has run for 269 yards and four touchdowns over his first two contests. He now ranks top-10 in Salisbury history in career rushing yards with 2,469, surpassing Ronnie Curley ‘08 with his performance on Saturday.

Young becomes the third different Lion this season to earn NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors. Young led the Lion defense to a 27-0 shutout of Kean, registering two interceptions on Saturday. Both picks came in TCNJ territory, including a fourth-quarter grab at the 5-yard line to preserve the shutout. Young is tied atop the NJAC rankings with four picks this season.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TREY HAYES • Christopher Newport University
Sophomore • Kick Returner/Wide Receiver • Sterling, VA/Dominion
Hayes earns NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after sparking Christopher Newport to a 21-18 win over Rowan on Saturday in Glassboro. Hayes wasted no time, returning the opening kickoff for a 95-yard touchdown. It marked just the eighth time in program history that a CNU player returned the opening kickoff for a score. Hayes currently leads all NJAC returners with an average of 32.6 yards per return on the season and is one of two returners in the league with a touchdown.

Bukula collects his second NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week honor after rushing for a career-best 123 yards on 28 carries and a touchdown in Rowan’s contest against Christopher Newport on Saturday. He capped a nine-play, 74-yard series with a 6-yard TD run to close out the second quarter. In three games played this season, the rookie is averaging 83.7 rushing yards per game.

CARTER WILLIAMS • Rowan University
Freshman • Defensive Line • Swedesboro, NJ/Kingsway Regional
Williams is named NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after leading the Rowan defense in a setback to Christopher Newport. He registered nine tackles - two solo - along with 1.5 tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry as the Prof defense held the NJAC’s top scoring offense to over 10 points below their season average. Williams is averaging 4.8 tackles per game, making 16 solo stops and 13 assisted tackles in his first six collegiate games.
