NJAC Student-Athlete Spotlight: William Paterson's Eric Kagdis

PITMAN-- There is no doubt that the New Jersey Athletic Conference boasts some extremely talented athletes, but we wanted to give fans a chance to get to know them beyond what they do on the field, court, track, etc. The Student-Athlete Spotlight helps us get to know one NJAC athlete each Friday.

The first-ever Student-Athlete Spotlight comes from William Paterson University. Eric Kagdis is a Junior linebacker from West Milford, NJ and is currently pursuing a degree in Sociology at WPU.

What made you choose your institution? The people and coaches at WPU made it seem like a great place for a good education
What made you want to be a DIII collegiate athlete? I couldn't walk away from my favorite sport just yet. So I figured I’d give
the next level a try
What was your first memory of playing your sport? In high school when I got my first sack; I'll never forget that.
What has been the greatest or most memorable moment of your experience as a collegiate athlete? Beating Kean this past season. It may have been by one point but a
win is a win.

the right path for their success.

What is your biggest accomplishment off the field, court, etc.? My biggest accomplishment so far would have to be being able to make it to college football and play the sport I love everyday.
