UNION—The Montclair State softball team earned a trip to the NCAA Division III National Championship Series in Salem, Virginia after recording a 1-0 victory over NJAC rival Rowan to claim the NCAA Union Regional title on May 13. MSU became the first NJAC team to earn a trip to the National Championship Series since 2006 when Rutgers-Camden won the national title. The Red Hawks will attempt to be just the third NJAC softball program in league history to claim a national crown. More to come later….
