NORTHBOROUGH, MA --- Four student-athletes from the New Jersey Athletic Conference — two from The College of New Jersey and two from Rowan University — were named to the 2026 IWLCA Division III All-America Teams, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced.
TCNJ senior Marissa Lucca earned First Team honors, while Lions senior Hailey Wexler and Rowan senior Elaina Corson were named to the Second Team. Rowan sophomore Madison Rothwein earned Third Team recognition.
The NJAC Attack Player of the Year, Lucca finished the season with 140 points (84G, 56A), matching the TCNJ single-season record set by Jenny LaRocca in 2022. She ranked third in Division III in points, sixth in points per game (6.67) and goals per game (4.00), 11th in assists, and 15th in goals. Lucca produced at least five points in 16 of the Lions' 21 games and posted at least nine points in every NJAC regular-season game. Her 14-point outing (5G/9A) against Neumann set the program's single-game record. She was a three-time NJAC Offensive Player of the Week and earned two national Player of the Week honors (one IWLCA, one USA Lacrosse), and was also named a USA Lacrosse First Team All-American. In NCAA Tournament play, Lucca totaled 11 points (9G/2A) through the quarterfinals, including a 4G/4A performance in the Lions' third-round upset of seventh-ranked Amherst. A three-time All-Region selection, she finishes her career ranked third in program history in assists (123), fourth in points (333), and sixth in goals (210).
The NJAC co-Goaltender of the Year in her first season as the Lions' full-time starter, Wexler posted a 6.76 goals-against average (14th in Division III) and a .490 save percentage (23rd), going 18-3. Her 120 saves ranked 20th in Division III, and she had six games with at least eight saves, including a season-high 13 against Babson. In the third-round NCAA Tournament win over No. 7 Amherst, Wexler made 12 saves on 21 shots. She added nine saves in the quarterfinal at No. 1 Middlebury, becoming the 12th goalie in program history to surpass 200 career saves. Wexler finishes her career with a 5.89 goals-against average (fourth all-time) and a .519 save percentage (10th) across 53 appearances and 21 starts.
A repeat IWLCA Second Team honoree, Corson concluded her career as Rowan's all-time leading scorer with 332 points (273G, 59A). Her 81 goals this season led the NJAC and ranked eighth nationally; she added 19 assists for 100 points, reaching that mark in back-to-back seasons. Corson posted five game-winning goals and a season-high nine goals against Sewanee. She earned All-NJAC First Team honors for the third consecutive season — the fifth player in program history to do so — and was named to the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region First Team for the third straight year.
In her first season with the Profs, Rothwein was named NJAC Midfielder of the Year and led Rowan with 154 draw controls, 50 ground balls, and 46 caused turnovers. Her 154 draw controls set a new single-season program record; she also set the single-game mark with 16 against Ramapo. Rothwein ranked third on the team in scoring with 92 points (47G, 14A) and added three game-winning goals. She earned All-NJAC First Team honors and was named to the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region First Team.
Rowan reached the NCAA Tournament's final 16 for the second consecutive year. TCNJ advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to No. 1 Middlebury.
