What made you choose your institution?
Stockton was the total package for me. I love the campus, the area, the people and it is one of the few schools in this area that has speech pathology as an undergraduate program, which I knew I wanted to study.
What made you want to become a DIII collegiate athlete?
I've always loved basketball so I wanted to continue my career while still focusing on my academics. DIII provides the opportunity to excel both on the court and in the classroom.
What was your first memory of playing your sport?
I started playing instructional basketball when I was 4. I just remember that the gym was super smelly and I was just as clumsy as I am now, unfortuantely.
What has been the greatest or most memorable moment of your experience as a collegiate athlete?
Making the NCAA's this past year was a truly amazing experience. Also, scoring my 1,000th point in the first round was pretty awesome.
Do you have any pre-game rituals? If so, what are they?
I always listen to a particular song before every game.
What famous athlete do you look up to?
I love Mike Trout. He is an amazing baseball player and works hard while still staying humble.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I'm going to Graduate School in the Fall, so hopefully in 5 years I'll have my Master's Degree and maybe working on my Doctorate. I also see myself working in a rehabilitation setting with trauma victims.
What is your favorite part about being an NJAC student-athlete?
I love being able to compete but not having to give up my academics. Doing well in the classroom is very important to me.
What is your biggest accomplishment OFF the field, court, etc.?
My biggest accomlishment has been creating Stockton's first Suicide Prevention Walk. It was an honor to organize and it hopefully stressed and promoted the true importance of Mental Health and mental health illnesses.
