EWING—The College of New Jersey's women's swimming & diving team wrapped another perfect 4-0 NJAC season with a 202-82 victory over William Paterson on February 7. Following the meet, the Lions were presented with their conference championship awards in recognition of thier 11th consecutive New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship.
The TCNJ women claimed their 14th NJAC swimming & diving championship overall and their 11th consecutive league crown since 1999-2000. Due to a lack of institutional sport sponsorship, women's swimming & diving was not recognized as a conference championship sport from a period of 2003 to 2008.
Since the NJAC does not sponsor a championship meet in the sport of women's swimming & diving, the conference title is awarded to the team with the best record in league dual-meet competition. The Lions finished 4-0 in conference dual-meets for the seventh consecutive season, giving them an NJAC dual-meet winning-streak of 28 staight conference meets since the return of NJAC women's swimming & diving as a conference sport in 2008-09.
