GLASSBORO--The College of New Jersey posted a 5-3 road victory over rival Rowan on April 30 to complete an undefeated conference season and claim the first ever NJAC Women's Lacrosse Championship.
The Lions, currently ranked No. 4 in NCAA Division III, outscored their NJAC opponents 57-9 in their four league contests, defensively allowing no more than four goals in any NJAC contest.
While guiding her squad to the first NJAC title, TCNJ's head coach Sharon Pfuger captured her 350th career head coaching victory. In 23 seasons at the helm of the Lions' program, Pfluger has produced an overall head lacrosse coaching record of 350-30-1.
